Business Networking

The most frequent event is the Construction Industry of Maui Pau Hana, held every Forth Wednesday of the month from 5p-7p.  All of the CIM Pau Hana events are sponsored by a Member and held in a different location monthly.

The CIM Holiday Party is celebrated in November. It’s our way to reflect upon this current year and present upcoming year of events.

Other annual events that the Construction Industry of Maui plans to continue are the Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Certification Training, First Aid/CPR Training, and the Lunch and Learn to review Construction Law and learn how to protect you and your business.

Event Benefits

CIM provides monthly events for members to network with other local businesses.  The benefits of participating in the CIM events are creating an opportunity for career growth by strengthening relationships, attaining new clients, marketing your business, and sharing your ideas with other professionals in the same industry.  Another benefit of participating in the CIM events is being able to build a strong support network for you and your business.  Networking is one of the most valuable skills you can cultivate and set you apart from the crowd.

Annual Golf Tournament

In 2023, the CIM hosted its first-ever golf tournament at the Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course.  All money raised supports Maui County High School Construction Vocational programs for students interested in pursuing a career in the trades.  With a continual decline of people entering the trades, programs such as these expose students to the possibilities and benefits of preparing them for a career in construction.

The CIM First Annual Golf Fundraiser Event was an extraordinary endeavor to support the Maui County High School Vocational Construction programs. With the support of the companies listed below, over $50,000 of the NET proceeds will be used to make a substantial difference in equipping these students with the skills and knowledge they need to become Builders, Innovators, and Problem Solvers to help rebuild Lahaina.

May Award Banquet

The winners of the scholarship will be selected by the CIM Board and honored at our annual Scholarship Celebration Banquet. 100% of all monetary donations and the auction proceeds at the CIM Holiday Party will be awarded via scholarships.
